facial paralysis rehabilitation refresher
By individual · Lebanon
This online refresher seminar is designed for physiotherapy students, recent graduates, and practicing physiotherapists who want to revisit and better organize their understanding of facial paralysis and its rehabilitation.Rather than presenting itself as a comprehensive specialization in facial rehabilitation, the refresher focuses on revisiting essential concepts and reconnecting them with clinical practice. It aims to remind participants how facial paralysis is understood medically, how it may affect the person psychologically and socially, and how physiotherapists can structure assessment, clinical reasoning, and rehabilitation according to the patient’s presentation and stage of recovery.Through ENT, psychological, and physiotherapy perspectives, participants will revisit how the underlying condition, emotional and psychosocial impact, facial movement patterns, recovery process, and potential complications interact throughout rehabilitation. This is a 4.5-hour live online refresher seminar divided into 3 sessions of approximately 1.5 hours each: one ENT session, one psychological session, and one physiotherapy session.Website / profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/dory-abou-issa/?isSelfProfile=true
